Frequently asked

Common questions about how ClauseMesh pricing and contracts work.

Each document you submit for extraction and risk scoring counts as one contract — regardless of page count. Amendments submitted as separate documents count separately. Re-running extraction on the same document within the same billing period does not count again.

Yes. We offer a structured 30-day proof-of-concept evaluation on your actual contract portfolio — your documents, not our sample set. The POC is available for Professional and Enterprise prospects. Contact us to arrange access.

No. We do not use the content of contract documents you process to train our extraction or risk scoring models. Your contracts contain commercially sensitive information and we handle them accordingly. This commitment is reflected in our Data Processing Addendum and is contractually binding.

Playbook configuration lets you define your standard positions — acceptable and fallback clause language, numeric thresholds for liability caps, governing law preferences — per contract type. ClauseMesh deviation detection then flags any counterparty clause that falls outside your defined parameters. Professional plan includes default playbook templates with customization guidance. Enterprise plan includes hands-on playbook configuration support from our team.

Professional and Enterprise plans include REST API access for custom integrations. Pre-built connectors include SharePoint, Box, Ironclad, ContractPodAi (Professional and above), iManage, and NetDocuments (Enterprise only). We also support S3 ingestion for batch processing workflows.

The best way to evaluate ClauseMesh is to see how it performs on your actual documents — not our curated samples.
