The people behind ClauseMesh

Built by people who came out of legal operations, enterprise software, and applied machine learning — not just AI researchers building demos.

Meet the team

A small team with deep experience in legal technology, contract operations, and natural language processing.

Rachel Adeyemi

Rachel Adeyemi

Chief Executive Officer

Rachel spent eight years as in-house counsel at a Fortune 500 technology company before co-founding ClauseMesh. She led the contract operations transformation that reduced review cycle times by 60% — and built ClauseMesh to make that kind of improvement accessible to every legal team, not just the ones with large budgets. Rachel holds a JD from Columbia Law School and an MBA from Wharton.

Marcus Osei

Marcus Osei

Chief Technology Officer

Marcus leads engineering and research at ClauseMesh, overseeing the clause extraction models, risk scoring architecture, and platform infrastructure. He previously led NLP research at a legal technology company and holds a PhD in computational linguistics from MIT, where his dissertation focused on information extraction from semi-structured professional documents.

Priya Krishnan

Priya Krishnan

Head of Product

Priya shapes the ClauseMesh product roadmap, working directly with in-house legal teams to translate operational workflows into product requirements. She joined from a CLM vendor where she led enterprise product management for five years. Priya has a background in legal operations and a deep understanding of how legal teams actually adopt — or fail to adopt — new technology in practice.

What we believe

The principles that shape how we build the product and work with our customers.

Recall over precision

Missing a liability cap is always worse than a false positive. We build our extraction systems around that asymmetry, not around benchmark scores that treat both errors as equivalent.

Built for attorneys, not demos

Our product gets tested on the worst contracts our customers have — scanned PDFs, heavily redlined amendments, non-standard clause structures. Not on curated demo environments.

Your data stays yours

We never train our models on your contract documents. Your agreements contain some of your most sensitive commercial information, and we treat them accordingly.

Work with the team directly

Every proof-of-concept evaluation runs on your actual contract portfolio, with our team available throughout the process.
